Since 2007, Marion County Community Services has been working toward building a multipurpose community building for Marion county. The proposed building will offer a recreational/competition swimming pool, basketball/volleyball/multipurpose room, indoor walking track, gift shop, youth center and office rooms for other non-profits or organizations.

This multipurpose community building can be used for many different purposed to include rehabilitation as well as building pride int he community and bring the entire county together. Relationships and friendships are blooming for residents across the State of Arkanssas in communities that have a building of this kind.

We can do this!

Visit the About page to view a layout of the building.

Marion County Community Services has found land in which to build the future community center!

The parcel of land is off Hwy 235 behind the Eagle Nest Lodge and is currently owned by the Yellville-Summit School District. The land is now paid off thanks to the wonderful list of donors contributing to the effort over the past few years!
